1. Definitions
In these Terms of Service, the following definitions apply:
- "Portal" refers to the Bokaro District Grievance Portal, including all associated websites, mobile applications, and digital services.
- "We," "Us," "Our" refers to the Bokaro Administration and its authorized representatives.
- "You," "Your," "User" refers to any individual or entity accessing or using the Portal.
- "Services" refers to all grievance-related services provided through the Portal.

- "Account" refers to the user profile created to access Portal services.
2. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the Bokaro Administration. By accessing or using the Portal, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of the Portal immediately. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Portal.

The Bokaro District Grievance Portal is an official government platform designed to:

Official Use Only: This Portal is intended exclusively for legitimate grievance submission and tracking purposes related to government services.
4. User Registration and Accounts
To access certain features of the Portal, you may be required to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain the security of your login credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
- Use only one account per individual
Identity Verification: You may be required to provide government-issued identification (such as Aadhaar) for account verification and service access.
5. Acceptable Use Policy

Legal Consequences: Violation of these terms may result in account termination and legal action under applicable laws.
7. User-Generated Content
When you submit content through the Portal (including grievance descriptions, documents, and feedback), you retain ownership of your content but grant us necessary rights to process and address your grievance.
You represent and warrant that your submitted content:
- Does not infringe on third-party rights
- Is accurate and not misleading
- Complies with all applicable laws
- Does not contain offensive or inappropriate material
8. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. The collection, use, and protection of your personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
By using the Portal, you consent to the processing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Intellectual Property

12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Portal immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Portal.
You may discontinue use of the Portal at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Portal ceases immediately.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India and the District of Bokaro. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jharkhand.
14. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated effective date. Continued use of the Portal after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
